38 Weeks.
Keeping an updated photo log of the ever-growing belly most definitely took a backseat to moving. Plus, the handy front entrance mirror that enabled me to take belly shots at my leisure has been relegated to the spare room - where it is resting mirrored side down against a wall. And so I had to enlist the help of Ken to capture the 38 week photo.At this point the soon-to-be-named baby is considered full-term and is welcome to join us out here at any time. I invite it out numerous times each day, but it's yet to take me up on the offer. Perhaps the howling wind and pending winter make the warm tummy a more inviting location? The doctor estimates its current weight somewhere around 8lbs, and should I get to 40 weeks it could be closer to 9. I owe that to the Doucette genetics. Apparently women in my mom's family grow large babies.

Sabrina! You are so beautiful!! Now now, don't roll your eyes and tell me you don't feel beautiful, just smile and say "thank-you" :) Can't WAIT to hear of the arrival of your little baby. You are so stunningly beautiful Sabrina. I too am thinking and praying for you these days as you prepare for the arrival of this baby. I am so excited to meet him or her. It's funny, yesterday and today I have been checking my phone constantly to see if you had called to tell me the baby had come. I'm hoping the phone actually rings with your name on it soon :)

Hi Sabrina, everytime I check your blog I'm hoping for an exciting announcement! I hope it will be soon. Have you been getting all kinds of advice on how to get your labour going? I know Krista did before she had Mädchen, but inspite of it all, babies decide for themselves when it's time to make their appearance!
